Refund Policy

Straightforward, fair refunds for our paid plans, because you should never feel locked into something that is not working for you.

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for PDFDock paid subscriptions. It applies only to optional Pro and Team plans; the core toolkit is, and remains, free to use with no payment involved. This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

Free core, paid extras

The everyday PDFDock tools are free, with no account and no watermark. Paid plans add convenience, such as unlimited batch jobs, saved presets, and team settings, but never additional access to your files, which always stay on your device. Because the free tier is so capable, we encourage you to try it thoroughly before subscribing.

Our 14-day money-back guarantee

If you are not satisfied with a paid plan for any reason, contact us within 14 days of your initial purchase and we will issue a full refund, no lengthy forms and no interrogation. We would rather part on good terms than keep payment for a product that did not fit your needs.

Cancellations and renewals

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account or by contacting us. Cancelling stops all future charges. Your paid features remain active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, after which your account simply returns to the free tier. We do not charge cancellation fees.

Renewal charges

Subscriptions renew automatically so your service is not interrupted. If you forget to cancel and are charged for a new period you did not intend to use, reach out promptly, we handle these situations reasonably and in good faith, and will generally refund a recent, unused renewal.

How to request a refund

Email hello@pdfdock.net from the address associated with your account, and let us know the plan and the reason if you are comfortable sharing it (it helps us improve). We aim to review every request within a few business days.

How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment processor. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take several business days for the funds to appear on your statement.

Chargebacks

If something has gone wrong, please contact us first, we can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of the associated account while the dispute is investigated.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply to purchases made after the revised date shown above.
